Create your kids a good habit to travel. Collect them great memories.

Jul 4, 2016
Our toddler loves traveling and we always try him to have a good experience and to remain with great memories from each of our getaway or holiday. He loves planes, trains, cars and even public transport, as every toddler he gets bored if our trips last more than an hour, but we to take some toys for him, or sing songs with him, and always have fun.

Now, we have a baby who is just 2 months and he doesn't have such experience as his brother, so we thought, it is good to begin one day. Our first getaway of the last weekend were Tossa (Tossa del Mar) in Costa Brava. Our baby boy, I think, will be a great traveller, as he stayed very quiet all the way from Barcelona to Tossa, I was impressed as I didn't expect him to be as quiet as he was.

We have been at the beaches of Tossa, enjoyed great weather and not as cold water as I have expected there to be. We have visited the castle and other lovely places of this amazing place in Costa Brava.

Our family, for sure, got another great traveller to the board, and we will share with you our experience as traveling family of 4.

Feel the soul of Barcelona, go to Plaça Catalunya

Mar 9, 2015
This is our second post on our project: Discover Barcelona. Today I will talk about Plaça Catalunya, but before introducing this amazing place to you, I would like to mention that if you travel with children it is great to take a Tourist Bus, as this bus takes you by all most touristy places and you can easily see all the city in 3 or 4 days and enjoy sightseeings without going out from the bus. I tried this in London and I'm pretty happy that we've seen a lot of amazing places in one weekend. Pl.Catalunya is a very, very touristy place, I don't really like very touristy places, but this one is special, as it is a big square where children and not only children, adults as well, all feed pigeons, and these ones know this thing and are a lot of them there. As you can see in the picture, people love this place for its happiness. Here you can simply sit anywhere and enjoy the amazing views and if you are not tired enough and want to take a walk, just great, there are a lot of shops, or even hand-made shops where you can buy different amazing things, as well you won't have to be surprised if you see somebody singing, dancing or making shows on the street.

And if you like architecture, Barcelona is one of the cities that you can enjoy it everywhere.

My advice as mum, always take a stroller with you, water and some food. See you next time xoxoxo

Have you decided what to see in Barcelona? Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes will be a good choice if you travel with kids

Mar 3, 2015
Today I run a new project: Discover Barcelona. The main idea of this project is to show to my dear readers the prettiest places of Barcelona and not from the tourist view, but from the view of a mum with a toddler.  For those who want just to come to visit Barcelona for a weekend, I will do later a post with the most touristy places, just shout when you need this post. But for now, I want to share with you some places that not all of the tourists have time to visit.

Today I will speak about Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes and 22@. Most often known as Glòries(Glorias), is a large square in Barcelona, has started with a big renewal project in 2000s and then in 2007, and the last in 2014. The first installment of this project was the construction of the controversial Torre Agbar skyscraper and finishing last year the park around the Design Museum of Barcelona. When we came for the first time to Barcelona in 2010, there were just Commercial Center Les Glories with its' children attractions and Torre Agbar, now, you can go with your child for a walk, play with a toddler, or run with your kids, all these opportunities were opened to a large public recently. If you, my dear reader do not have children, but want to come to this place you are very welcome, as you can go to Design Museum or just to make picture with one of the biggest skylines of Barcelona. As well there is a lot of space just to lay out and enjoy the sunny wether of Barcelona.

For mums with toddles: just when you go out from the Subway Station Glories L1(red line) , you will see a big open space where toddlers and kids run there and forth. The amazing thing which they can enjoy from staying there are neon lights, right on the ground, these change their colors and amuse children, toddlers skip, run, jump on these lights and you as mum can take a seat and enjoy their happiness.

Below some images from these amazing places.

Some tips if you want to enjoy breakfast on the beach

Feb 1, 2015
I love Sundays, and specially when it is a good weather outside, because we can enjoy this time with a great breakfast on the beach. We used to do this in automn and once or twice in december, this year it is our first time as others weeks it was windy and not as sunny as it was today. It is a great time spent in a family, as we stay together, enjoy the waves, the fresh air, and see other people enjoying great time with theirs family as well.

What we take for going to take our breakfast at the beach:

- a mattress or something similar for sitting down

- water, milk, fruit, or croisant for Damian

- our breakfast (thermos with coffee, donuts or something similar that is easy to eat)

- a toy, like a ball or something which Damian enjoys to play with

- great mood

Below see how we enjoyed our breakfast today.
