Costa Brava is a place that I was advised to go long time ago, as one of the most beautiful coast places to go in Catalunya. I really wanted to go, but everytime it was an excuse not to go there. This weekend there was no excuse to cancel our getaway to these fantastic places. It is true that in summer it is much better, but it wasn´t bad at all to go there now. The only thing is that it was really windy outside and we couldn´t enjoy walking through all the cities.
We made a route visiting 5 cities: Besalú, Figueres, Roses, El Port de la Selva and Cadaqués.
First day we went to Besalú, a little town, which was designates as a historical national property, that features with Middle Age houses. Walking through the houses you feel like you are in a medieval movie.
But before going there, just few metres above we made a stop and took our breakfast on a greeny lea. Damian enjoyed this stop as he was tired after 1 hour and a half of his stay in a baby chair.
Then we went to Figueres, birthpplace of Salvador Dali, we didn´t spend too much time here, as Damian was very tired and all the way wanted to be taken on arms. But the most important thing, Museum Dalí was seen by us. Yeah!
Last stop for Saturday was Roses, little town on the cost, with beautiful beaches. Here we remained for the night. We made some walking in the evening, but we didn´t take any picture. So here is just one picture of all city and another from where we stayed.
Sunday was really windy in that parts of Costa Brava, and Damian get asleep in the car, so El Port de La Selva and Cadaqués we enjoyed from the car :P. These are the places to get back and back not just once. Expect in summer another post with better weather and of course with us in the photos :)
I sooo much like that you keep travelling with your toddler! Just the respect! lots of moms just staying home with babies, but you are always always on the way and i think it's just great!
